Introducing the Entr'acte
It's almost time for a new chapter in life, but right now it's the Entr'acte.
The Merriam Webster dictionary says that an Entr'acte is the interval between two acts of a play. An Entr'acte to me, is that music the orchestra plays that includes melodies from the first act like memories and introduces new music to foreshadow what is coming in the second act. It's a beautiful performance.
So Act 1 for me included seven years in education, teaching Spanish and ESOL to students ages 3 to 18, in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and even South Korea. I loved teaching Spanish, met incredible educators and students, and tried to give my best performance every day.
But Act 1 is over... and it's time for a new performance ... my Entr'acte.
